Etienne studied electrical engineering at the ETH Zurich, the Technical University of Helsinki/Finland, and the University of Calgary in Canada. Currently he is a PhD student in the Micro and Nanosystems Group of Professor Hierold and is focusing on the further development of the micro thermoelectric generators. At greenTEG he is responsible for the production rampup and opperation of the new production facility at Technopark Zürich.
